How much is an eye test?List item 1
In Scotland the eye examination is carried out at no charge through the NHS regardless of age or income.

What age can I have my child's eyes examined?List item 2
Children do not need to be able to read to get their eyes tested. We can examine babies,so if you have any concerns about your childs sight book them in to be seen.

My eyes are bothering me, should I go to my GP first?List item 3
No. If you have a problem with your teeth you go to the dentist. If you have problems with your eyes you should go to an optician. If we find something a GP or hospital need to know about we will contact them.

How much are frames?List Item 4
Our frames start at £25 and up. We have lots of frames below £100 and designer names well above that. All our frames are adjusted to give you a comfortable fit.

How much are spectacle lenses?
Our lenses start at £50. These are good quality lenses, glazed at a local experienced optical laboratory and are measured to match up with the centres of your eyes. Thinner lenses or lenses with coatings begin at £70.

How much are contact lenses?
Our monthly lenses start at £17.95 per month. With us there are no hidden charges. Your monthly Direct Debit payment covers you for everything. You do not need to budget for anything else.

What is the difference between an Optician and an Optometrist?
They are basically one and the same thing. Optometrist is the more commonly used term around the world and is a protected title in the UK.
