Our eyes are one of our most important senses, we need to make the time to take care of them. Glasses are our way of getting the best possible vision and they allow us to interact with the world around us - whether for distance, intermediate or near tasks They should be well fitted, comfortable, robust and look good too. Contact Lenses offer an alternative to glasses and we fit lenses that can be worn on a full time or occasional basis.
We've been doing this a long time and we still care about what we do. You can trust us to offer you honest advice and to explain what we think is best for your eyes, your glasses or contact lenses. Your eye test will be all about you as an individual - you will not be made to feel part of a production line.

Who are we?
Brian Michie Opticians are a small independent company formed in 2013. Brian has been testing eyes in Airdrie for over 30 years. The small staff have over 60 years experience between them. You can trust us to know what we are doing.
What do we do?
We provide NHS Eye Examinations which are free of charge to everyone in Scotland.
We have designer frames and premium lenses as well as Complete Price Frame & Lens Packages for those wishing to stick to a budget.
We also fit Contact Lenses.
